Mandatory Gears

When we think of SkyRace, we envision a moderately long run on technical terrain, featuring experienced elite athletes who are agile and fast.

For the Inthanon SkyRace, we encourage all runners to use their best judgment in assessing their own fitness, the trail conditions, and the weather. Please carry necessary equipment for your own safety. To ensure fairness for all participants, we have designated a list of mandatory equipment and provided recommendations for additional gear. We urge all runners to carefully consider what they need to stay safe on the course.

Mandatory equipment will be checked at race bib collection, and random checks will be conducted throughout the course. If a runner is found without the required equipment, time penalties will be applied as outlined in the regulations.

Please note: Cups, plates, and spoons will not be provided at aid stations. Runners can use their own bottles or their hands.
